Repentant Tears

Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: "Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times." And he broke down and wept. Mark 14:72

Unrepentant Tears

See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done. Hebrews 12:16,17

Compassionate Tears

And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, saying, "Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes." Luke 19:41,42

Expectant Tears

Those who saw with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go without weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. Psalm 126:5,6
