The Crown of Endurance

Hebrews 12:1-11 |

Hebrews 12:1-2, 1 "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sing which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down atthe right hand of the throne of God."

Beware beloved, a crown without a cross is the Devil's Gospel. Without the cross there is no redemption...no salvation...no life! Humility comes before honor, risk is taken before reward is given, pain is felt before glory is achieved, and sacrifice is given before exaltation.

Patient endurance results in abounding Thanksgiving to God for all the good He does for and through us for His glory and our good.
